Moses Pearson, son of Benjamin Pearson and Esther Furnas was born 27 Dec. 1798 in Newberry, Newberry Co., S.C. He married Eunice Macy and was the father of five children. Moses died 19 July, 1874 in West Milton, Miami Co., OH.

Father's family from Virginia--Cannaday, Canaday, Canady, etc. (Kennedy), Raikes, Coleman, Ingram, Poff, Graham. Husband's family -- Parker, Tidwell, Morris, Sanders, Sanderson, Saunders, Allred, Wright, Zabriskie, Faucett. Also came across plains 1846-69.
