Nicholas married Christena Carl on 23 July 1870, and they had two children: Eva Jane Michael, born abt 1871, who married George E. Bowers; and Howard Michael, who married Neva A Geary, born Sep 1879. Nicholas, who died Sep 16, 1906, and Christena, who died 24 Jan 1929 in Middleport, Meigs Co, Ohio, are both buried at the Horner Hill Cemetery, Scipio Twp, Meigs Co, Ohio.
