Richard Caines Headstone
Richard Caines is the man after whom Caines Creek was named. He was the
first white man who settled into that area of Eastern Kentucky. He is an
ancestor of many Boggs, too. The marker is in the Griffith family cemetery on Caines Creek. Photo was provided by David Church
