Samuel is my Great, Great Grandmother's brother. Her name is Esther Ruston. Interestingly, the picture of the five people, Samuel, Edwin, Esther, Emma, Elizabeth that is shown, I have an original of in my possession. I have been doing a lot of research on my family tree. Type in the person you are looking for and it will give you date of birth, death, parents, spouses, children. You also may click on each spouse and child and it will give you their information. All the information I get is from sites like these plus other sites. Keep in mind there are several Samuels and several Edwins. I also have been collecting information in my Family Tree Maker over the years and have quite an nice personal collection. I have an Emma 1849 to 1922 marrying Joseph W. Kingdon 1849-1919.
Find a grave shows Esther and Emma as Samuel and Amelia's daughters. That makes more sense to me as that is what I have in my records. Emma lived 1859-1922. If you look at the picture under Amelia on Find a Grave, I posted it. If you type in Edwin, born 1866, I posted that picture as well. Edwin is the brother of Esther and Emma.
Joseph Uriah was born April 14 1871, Emma, Esther, Sam, Elizabeth Ann, Edwin. There was also Mary Jane born 18 Jan 1858. Charlotte was the previous generation born 1827, Susannah and William as well born 1839 and 1830 respectively. William born 1797 is the parent of Samuel married to Amelia Scott.
