Sarony & Co., Photography
CDV by Oliver Francois Sarony, born 1820 in Quebec but moved to England in 1843. He was brother to famous American photographer Napoleon Sarony.
Oliver settled in Scarborough, England in 1857. By 1871 his studio was said to be the largest in Europe.
Oliver died in 1879 but his studio continued under the name "Sarony & Company". At one point the studio was run by Samuel Waind, husband of Jennie Sarony, daughter of Oliver's brother, Napoleon.
