Basil Gera, son of Anna Lazor, and his wife Parascevia (in America the family called her Pearl), daughter of Demitri and Anastasia (Iwanoerko) Lazor - farmers who lived in Dobromil, Austria but is now the Ukraine. They had 2 children at least: Piotr (Peter Gera, Geray, Giera, born 1899) and Anna Gera (born 1902. The 2 children migrated to America. The parents stayed in the old country.
