Vera Hoffman possibly of WI &/or IA

I have no idea who this child is, or if Hoffman was her married name or maiden name, just that the photo had the name written in one corner of the front and the date January 28, 1898 on the back. The photo was taken by W.H. Monroe of the Chicago Photo Gallery, and Fayette, Iowa is printed on the front. Taped to the reverse side was a scrap of paper with the names Zinta & Mabel Hoffman written on it.
