This is a photo of my 4th Generation Grandfather on my Mother's side son of Joel Bird Jr. Hembree born in Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, South Carolina, USA died 11 Apr 1860 in Greene, Whittenburg County, MO, USA and Sarah "Sally" Wilhite born 20 Mar 1809 in Tennessee, USA died in 1870. He is buried in Cummings Cemetery Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma, USA. He was in Company E 14th ILLinois Infantry during the Civil War.
