My grandmother was one of the nicest people. As a great mother to six children and a grandmother to fourteen grandchildren she was always there to lend a hand. She had also doted on her great grandchildren whom she got to know while she was still alive. She was a great cook who enjoyed having the families over for a nice meal. She enjoyed taking her grandchildren out for their birthdays treating them to a nice lunch and some shopping for new clothes. Even after her stroke she would enjoy talking to everyone even though it was difficult. She never got her vocabulary back but could still say a few things to get your attention. When I was pregnant with my son I was talking about what to name him. I told her that I should name him Chuck so every morning I would say. "Time to get up Chuck!" She laughed so hard I was worried she was going to choke on her lunch. I could say I had gotten my sense of humor from her. Probably did too! Grandpa might argue that one though. She was a fighter. After her stroke in 1987 she would not give up. The Lineage of Miller and Baldauf are very strong and determined people.

My grandpa was the best and when we all found out he had cancer it was the worst day of our lives. HE was a husband, father, grandfather, brother and a son, He always tried so hard to make sure we were happy everyday and thats what I miss the most about him. From that day forward all I could think about was losing my only grandpa but my grandpa always said he would make it but in the end he passed away and now i am trying to find more information about his background and family. My grandpa was my best friend, my buddy and I miss him and love him so much !! I love you grandpa!! Love Marissa Jo
