Giacomo "Jack" Vincenzo Ceresetto was born in Italy, the oldest son of Angelo GianBattista Cereseto (1841-1911) and Rose Nicoletta Dellepiane (b. 1855). He lived in Oakland with his uncle and cousins when he first arrived in the US in the 1890's. He then moved to Sonoma County where he grew grapes and vegetables. In 1905 Giacomo returned to Italy to marry Maria Anna Mangini in Torriglia (possibly in Pentema.) They returned together to California and started a family.

Maria Ceresetto was buried at IOOF Cemetery Ocean Ave, in Santa Cruz.
Lewis Jack Ceresetto was the oldest son of Giacomo "Jack" Ceresetto and Maria Anna Mangini. He was born in Sonoma County, California but the family moved to Santa Cruz, California while he was in his early teens. On July 15th, 1932, the Santa Cruz Sentinel reported that Lewis was "confined to his home by a bad case of sunburn." He was married twice. Lewis was also a member of the Star of the Sea Catholic Church and U.A.D. Druids, Grove #142. He is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in Santa Cruz.
