Many thanks to Carol Morin Miller for making an Essig book and placing it in the genealogy department at the Princeton, Missouri Library. Because of Carol, many descendants of John Arley and Mary Eliza "Burch" Essig now have the opporunity to see pictures of their ancestors.

Unfortunately, Carol has passed away. I regret that I was not able to thank her personally. In tribute to Carol I will be posting pictures of the Essig family that I have obtained from her efforts.

Carol was the granddaughter of Sarah "Janie" Essig Morin.
