Original photo reunited with daughter of David Kile January 2009...Photo of Glendora and David Kile, found in an antique shop in Willow Glen (San Jose) California. Not my family. I did locate family in the 1930 US Census in Portland, Oregon. In household: George B. Kile (head) age 47, born in Kansas; Glendora (wife) age 42, born in Kansas, and son G.David Kile, age 11, born in Montana. Living with family is mother-in-law May C. Emerich (widow, tho 1920 US Census shows husband Albert E.)age 62, born in Illinois. In the 1920 Census, family (son David not born) living in Yakima, Washington. Picture of George B. Kile also submitted to Ancientfaces. I have no other information, as I am not a relative of this family.

Carl Francis Kile married my aunt, Ida Jane Boyd in Allen, Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory. He was one of the most caring and sweetest uncles one could have had. He worked hard at what he worked, with one flaw, he loved beer. :). He always smelled of Pall Mall cigarettes which both he and Aunt Ida smoked. Unfortunate as they both came down with lung problems latter in life. Mostly because they followed gasoline plants and refinery's in their employment and smoked. You always enjoyed Saturday nights as dad and Uncle Carl would catch wrestling on Television, while Aunt Ida and Mom whipped up Peanut butter fudge, which hit the spot when the movie let out and we were back home. Most of the nieces and nephews remembered the screened in front porch as it was cool and could watch the Main St. traffic at night.
Ida Jane (Boyd) Kile was born on December 16, 1904 at Allen, Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory Allen - Broadway St. In Allen, Ok., in Hill St. Oklahoma City, Ok., Oklahoma City, Ok County USA to John Alfred Boyd and Mary Katheryn Webb Boyd, and had siblings William Boyd, Delia Ethel Boyd, and James Carl Boyd. She married Carl Francis Kile, and had a child Carleen Kile, Nunnley, Cope, Davis. Ida Kile died at age 83 years old on March 14, 1988 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Carleen "Kitty" (Kile) Davis was born on October 22, 1931 at Allen, Oklahoma to Ida Jane Boyd and Carl Francis Kile. Carleen's partner was Richard "Dick" Cope, and they had children Richard Cope, Jr. and Richard Carl Cope. She would also marry Dale Nunnley. Carleen Davis died at age 76 years old on August 10, 2008.
