Leo Jr was born in 1944. Was Kia Christmas Eve 1965 in the Dominican Republic. No children. He was my brother and my Protector. Always a gentle man till provoked unnecessarily. He would then stand up for what was right. My memories date back to my being 3 & he 4? 5? yrs old. He was dared to jump off a garage roof, which he did but sprained his ankle. We helped each other home. I felt lucky to have a brother who would take me on bike rides, include me with his friends for many years. Of course, it changed in Jr HS, but he was still there looking after me. As I feel he has been for all these years.
I truly miss my big brother.
