Family Steinhubel is in research from me and it is visible that surname is composed from two parts. Exist families Stein and families Hybel, sometimes writes Steinhybel, Stainhibell, Steinhibl, Stajnhybel, Stajnhibel. Concerning making surnames from Engelschalk, see surname Engel from what many variations exist, for example Engler, Engelholm and so on, I will reserch historical persons from this family and how deep to the past it goes and then origin of family Stein.

Albrecht Steinhubel appeared in history of Modra in circa 1600, what is surely related.

Gottfried Steinhubel

/Stainhibell, Steinhibl/, the bookseller, bookbinder and publisher. 1679 Levoca, district Spiska Nova Ves, he came from bookbiner family, which 1664 moved from Nitrianske Pravno to Levoca, at the beginning of 18. century he went to Presov and did publishing and bookselling work, he published school-books, which he gave to print in Kosice, he spread also books of J. A. Komensky. 1777 took his bookshop J. G. Kollar.

Gottfried Steinhubel made similar things as Michal Steinhubel as both created text-books /school-books/.

Pavel Steinhubel
was worker and wineyeard owner and keeper and he travelled to the U. S. A. to work money and then returned back to Slovakia and bought many wineyards in locality of Modra or Modra-Kralova. Pavel was father of Michal Steinhubel and his sister, my greatgrandmother.

Famous person from our family is brother of my greatgrandmother, uncle of father of my father Michal Stenhibel.

Michal Steinhibel was famous writter and publisher, teacher, translator and so on, CV will be added in a short time to other box on surname Steinhubel as here I give some information from Bartos what is genealogy to Steinhubel, Steihubel married Hudecova and she saw revelation at his birhday aniversary numbers how old would be Michal Steinhubel when would he live, this I heard her to say to me when I once met her, it was some revelation or glory of God or what, she saw it as fact described some light numbers,
but list of surnames will be kept whole at Bartos surname:

Other very many Bartoses are in Czech, Slovak and Czechoslovak encyclopedias, in all kinds of life, so many I do not write.
