PETER TAPLEY, was born in 1814, va or tn,
parents are unknown at this time.
i discoverd him first,when he was in hickman co ky, in 1840 census there,
he had married first to MARTHA BATTS, in 1837, she was the daughter of J,AND, E BATTS,
they were married for a few years, by 1854 martha died, then peter married MARY F UNDERWOOD, daughter of LEVI UNDERWOOD, from south obion co tn..
by 1858, peter sold all his land in hickman co ky, then he and mary and her father levi moved to JOHNSON CO IL..
there they lived until peters death in 1864, he is buried at reynoldsburg cemetery,
in johnson co il..
