I am Abe's great granddaughter. I am the daughter of Artha and Lucille Owens and the granddaughter of Oscar and Lillie Mae Windham Owens. I never got to meet my great grandfather when he was alive, but I did attend his funeral. I will never forget that day and all the memories of meeting family I had never seen before. Also, looking at my great grandfather's face and seeing the family resemblance. My grandma was a great lady and she spoke fondly of my great grandpa. My dad loved his grandpa and often made the trip to Winnsboro to visit him in the nursing home before he passed away. I wish he would have taken me on one of those trips, so that I could have met him. Please share with me any memories you have of my great grandfather. I would sure appreciate it! Thanks!
