Miss Gleason, Mr. Totterer Exchange Vows
A number of Bloomington residents were in St. Louis Saturday to attend the wedding of Miss Rosemary Gleason and Joseph F.
Totterer, both of St. Louis. The bride is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul R. Gleason of Bloomington and the bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Totterer of 1311 Western avenue.
The wedding was held in the Church of St. Plus V. The bride, given in marriage by her oldest brother, Tom Gleason of Oak Park, Til, wore a traditional gown of white satin styled entrain. Her veil was fingertip length and she carried white orchids on a white prayer book. Miss Joan Whalen. St. Louis, served as maid of honor. She wore a colonial styled gown of deep rose taffeta with a matching headpiece, and carried white roses. James E. Hayes of South Bend, Ind., was best man, and ushers were Bernard F. Murray of Bloomington and Joseph Becker of St. Louis.
A wedding breakfast was served after the ceremony for the wedding party at the Melbourne hotel in St. Louis, and a reception was held for all wedding guests at 8 p. m. After a wedding trip they will live in St. Louis where both are employed.
Both principals are graduates of Trinity High school in Bloomington.
