Bobbie didn’t not serve, however our great uncle is Truman Kimbro. It’s worth a read to search his name. He received the nast metal of honor that was presented to him widow the day of the Convention Center was built in Madisonville, Tx in his honor.

Bobbie was a great man until he got hit blow by blow first with the divorce from the love of his life, than the loss of his youngest daughter DJ Doris Jean Kimbro. It was like he never could get past DJs death and I’m not sure he was ever truly happy after that. He started drinking and out in the bars with friends or on long motorcycle rides with friends after that. Don’t get me wrong he was my best friend from childhood all through the yrs, but we butted head over things because I remembered him as a man not broken from all the tragedies. I loved him and still consider him my first and longest best friend.
