"Police last night were searching for the killer of an eight-months-pregnant woman, who was found strangled and savagely stabbed at a Bronx shelter. Claire Cooper-Tognoli, 20, was discovered in her tiny third-floor apartment at 1938 Webster Ave. at around 11:40 p.m. Sunday. I miss you so much.. there is not a day that goes by that I don’t think about you guys. I wish I could have held my godson and watch him grow.. my son knows all about his titi Clare . You would have loved him.. I promise I will get justice I still haven’t given up.. love you guys

I met Clare in 1996 at Camp Harkness and was her best friend I really love Clare we use to write each other and call each other I will always remember how sweet she was and all the conversations we had I was very heartbroken when I heard that she passed way it still hurts and I think about her all the time I know if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t have finished high school and never was able to thank her for being there for me I will always cherish the memories of the times we spoke and spent at the camp and will always remember her beautiful smile I know she is watching over me I love you Clare always forever I know one day I will see you again you will always be my best friend and in my heart R.I.P. Clare
