The best father ever.
His silence said everything. He knew therapeutic conversation before there was a name for it. I never realized the affect of his silence. Until my older sister said that a song from Allison Krause “when you say nothing at all”. Reminded her of our father. I was blown away. Because that’s exactly what I always thought when I heard that song. It’s incomprehensible that your own blood relative get you. But at the same time it reinforces our bond is so strong. Blood is thicker than water. I really miss my father and my mother. It’s no fun being on this side of time.

He was the greatest father anyone could ask for. He’s been gone for so long and missed every day. I hope to see him someday. Maybe even relive our experiences good and bad. His silence said everything. Thanks for being my father and my friend.
