Georgina's marriage certificate (10th April 1877 in Echuca) shows she was under-aged at time of marriage and was given permission by her Guardian to be married.
Also she states she was born in Hobart, Tasmania. Now there was a Georgina Dobson who was admitted to the Queen's Orphanage in Hobart in 1865, daughter of Edward Dobson, and this could very likely be her. This Georgina was born in 1862, so she'd be only 15 years of age at the time of her marriage if this were her. This record suggests William Rowes died in 1877, yet I see no death for him in the Victorian Births, Deaths & Marriages.
