Introduction

Born to Charles Lowther and Susannah Dumagan. He married Magdalene Waters and had 9 Children and worked as a coal miner in Chevington Northumberland in the 1901 census. His son Charles (my great grandfather) was killed in the second world war when he was onboard the Lancastria ship that was bombed in St. Nazaire France.
