She was in a relationship with William Gordia Reburn, and had children Jean Augustine Reburn, Mary O. Reburn, Frances Catherine Reburn, Charles "Chuck" Reburn, John Reburn, and Georgianna Reburn. Viola Engle died at age 91 years old on December 17, 1987 at Mt Carmel, IL.

Granny was a very sweet person that took my brother and I hitch hiking on 101 Fwy in San Francisco in 1962. Never had an unkind word to say and favourite comment was "Dont borry trouble". She told me "I named myself as I was never adopted".
