    My mom was a very warm, loving, tender and generous person with a heart of gold. She loved making people laugh and she loved to draw it was her passion. My mom was very happy when me and my sisters gave her Grandchildren she couldn't believe it she was in love with everyone of them.

She was born to the late Frank and late Marguerite Gilling on February 17, 1943 in St Thomas, Elgin, Ontario, Canada. She and Robert Lawrence Polk married March 17, 1967 in St Thomas, Elgin, Ontario, Canada. They had 4 daughter; Laura (John Jr) Masters, Leslie (Timothy) Pickett, Lisa (James) Montroy and Michelle (Dawn) Polk-Riley. She is also survived by 31 Grandchildren and 38 Great Grandchildren. She really enjoyed drawing, bowling and being with family and friends.

Me and my sisters always loved watching my mom draw pictures she wanted to go to some school that teaches drawing but she was disappointed when she couldn't get school records in St. Thomas Ontario Canada cause mom had dropped out of school in the 7th grade
