Verbon Arris Clearman of Lamar, Ridge County, Alabama United States was born on June 11, 1907 in Lamar County to John V. S. Clearman and Lydia Ann (Merchant). He married Mildred Clearman on May 22, 1930 in Lamar,, Lamar County, and had children Vera Faye (Clearman) Leonard, Charles Boyd Clearman, Arris Dean Clearman, and Robert Gene Clearman. Verbon Clearman died at age 45 years old on February 22, 1953 in Detroit, Wayne County, MI, and was buried at Wofford Cemetery in Vernon, Lamar County, AL.
