    Birdie had a fun personality. She loved showing cows at the 4-H fair and open shows. She loved to garden, sew, milking the cows. She graduated from North Liberty High School, in 1966, became engaged to Dennis Birk, went to Holland for her graduation present, came home and married dennie 10/29/1966. then moved out to wakarusa, ind to start her life as a farm wife.
