Panfilo had two sisters, Rita and Teresa who live in Massachusetts. His brothers were Louis and Philip who both had moved to California with their families and Panfilo followed them. He worked for the Navy in the port of Long Beach and bought a house in Orange County, where he lived until retirement in Victorville.

Rank attained: TSGT and was a decorated veteran. Wars/Conflicts: World War II He originally enlisted in the Army and spent four years in Panama.
