Joseph J Defina's History: 1926 - 2004

Uncover new discoveries and connections today by sharing about people & moments from yesterday.
  • Introduction

Joe was a fiesty, jolly man who loved to joke and laugh. He and his brother owned Bacon Street Market in Waltham which was originally owned by his father and mother (Rose and Bartholomew Defina). He was very religious and believed God would take care of things for him and his family. He prayed the rosary several times a week. He enjoyed his family but so much enjoyed his grandchildren (Kimberly Diamond, Joseph Defina, Stephen Defina, Christopher Defina and Matthew Defina). He was the best grandfather around and spent his days (along with his wife, Jennie) babysitting and playing with them. They were his best friends!

Did his parents ever live in NH? Was his sister, Caterina, born there? She would have been born in 1924 or 1925 and died 9 months later.
