Aunt Myrtle was my favorite aunt! My dad, Wesley G. Munkel, had a fairly good relationship with his oldest sister. She spent holidays with us in Omaha, Ne. She liked to go shopping in fancy department stores. I remember she was always spunky. She liked that her initals were M.G.M. , Myrtle Gertrude Munkel. She was a true 1920's flapper we have the pictures to prove it. On my 16th birthday we went to the movie Thoroughly Modern Millie, which is about a girl
