Abraham T. Hyzer 1797 - 1830

Abraham T. Hyzer was born on December 3, 1797 to Petrus "Peter" Henry Hyzer and Eve (Schryver) Hyzer, and had siblings Peter Henry Hyzer, Ellenor (Hyzer) Samuels, Mary Polly Hyzer Davis, Elizabeth Hyzer Davis, Catherine Hyzer VanValkenburgh, and Isaac Jacob Hyzer. He married Hannah Wodding Hyzer on February 19, 1818, and had children James Hyzer and Thomas W Hyzer. Abraham Hyzer died at age 33 years old on December 26, 1830.

The eruption was so large that it affected air temperatures, the color of the sun, and cloud formations.
