Ada Gwendolyn Kinsman, mother to 2 children, was born on June 10, 1921 at St Thomas Elgin Hospital, St. Thomas, Michigan. She was born into the Kinsman family and married into the Bagozzi family. She was born to William Kinsman and Mary Eliabeth ((Taylor)) Kinsman. Ada married Alfred Bagozzi and Alfred died on November 11, 1969. She also married George Arthur Polk and they later divorced. They gave birth to Robert Lawrence Polk. She would also marry George Arthur Polk and they later separated. They gave birth to Robert L Polk. Ada died on August 3, 1986 at Robert & Gloria Polk's house, Taylor, Michigan at age 65.

When my grandma moved in with us due to her illnesses taking care of her was the greatest reward for me and my sisters. She was cremated when she died and later she was buried with her sister Susan in St Thomas Ontario Canada.

Ada Gwendoline Bagozzi nee Kinsman. Age 65. Beloved ex-wife of late George Polk and late Alfred Bagozzi. Loving mother of Robert L. (Gloria) Polk. Dearest Grandmother to Laura, Leslie, Lisa and Michelle. Sister of Susan Keillor of St. Thomas Ontario Canada. Greatly missed by many Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews and cousins.

In 1921, in the year that Ada Gwendolyn Kinsman was born, hugely popular Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle, silent film star, was arrested for rape and manslaughter after an actress died following a party at his house. He was acquitted after three trials and the jury wrote a formal letter apologizing for the charges, but his career never recovered. His films were at first banned - the ban was lifted after a year - and he was mostly ostracized by the community. He died at 46..

In 1946, by the time she was 25 years old, pediatrician Dr. Benjamin Spock's book "The Common Sense Book of Baby and Child Care" was published. It sold half a million copies in the first six months. Aside from the Bible, it became the best selling book of the 20th century. A generation of Baby Boomers were raised by the advice of Dr. Spock.

In 1955, at the age of 34 years old, Ada was alive when on September 30th, movie star James Dean, 24, died in a car accident. He was headed in his new Porsche 550 to a race in Salinas California when, traveling at 85 mph, he collided with a 1950 Ford Tudor, also speeding, driven by a 23 year old college student. Dean died, his passenger and the other driver survived.

In 1969, at the age of 48 years old, Ada was alive when one hundred countries, along with the United States and the Soviet Union signed the nuclear nonproliferation treaty (NPT). It called for stopping the spread of nuclear weapons, the peaceful use of nuclear energy, and the goal of nuclear disarmament.

In 1986, in the year of Ada Gwendolyn Kinsman's passing, on January 28th, the space shuttle Challenger exploded 73 seconds after launch. All seven crew members died. The cause of the explosion was later found to be a failed O-ring. The O-ring failure was due to the unusually cold conditions at Cape Canaveral.
