He married Nancy (Plotkin) Nimoy in 1988 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County and they later divorced in 2004 in Los Angeles. They had children Madeline Louise Nimoy and Jonah Peter Nimoy. He was the parent of Morgan Pearson.
