Alan Laverne Lighthart of South Beloit, Winnebago County, Texas was born on January 1, 1953 in Rockford, Illinois United States to *Herbert Franklin Lighthart and Mary Helen Watson Lughthatt. He had siblings Sharon Lighthart McDanial, Rita Lighthart Frank, Curtis Lighthart, Herbert Lighthart, Ronald Lighthart, Brenda Lighthart Carlson, Sarah Lighthart Phillips, and Anita Lighthart Garrison. He married Mary Lighthatt, and died at age 54 years old on June 9, 2007 in Tyler, Smith County, TX. Alan Lighthart was buried on June 30, 2007 at Rockfod, IL.

Alan was my brother. He passed away while riding a ATV which flipped over 5 or 6 times. Crushing his head. He was brain dead. Our mother and his wife Mary made the decision to pull the plug. He passed away in peace. Love and miss you Alan. SiSister Sarah
