She married Oscar-Félix Mercier, and had children Oscar Joseph-Damien Mercier, Raymonde Bienvenu (Née Mercier), and Madeleine Patenaude (Née Mercier). Alexina Mercier died at age 57 years old on March 21, 1933 in Montreal, Montreal County, QC.
