Anthony served in the US Army from April 16, 1946 until May 1, 1947. Anthony was married to Nancy Mayer Sangiovanni and they had a son, Craig J Sangiovanni. He worked as a truck driver for the Eastern Trucking Co in East Hartford, CT for 18 years.
