Charles Joseph Dornburg was born on February 21, 1918 at Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania United States to Carl Auguste Dornburg and Elizabeth Marie (Kreutz) Dornburg, and had siblings Robert Alan Dornburg and Ruth Madaline (Dornburg) Marple. Charles Dornburg died at age 69 years old on December 18, 1987 at Park Ridge Health 100 Hospital Drive, in Hendersonville, Henderson County, NC, and was buried in December 1987 at Shepherd Memorial Park Cemetery.
