Born to Peter Nels Raun and Marjorie Dean(Sterrett) Raun in Wattsburg, Pa. Married to Geraldine (Gerrie) Dodele Raun of Oregon. Navy veteran of WWII, having fought in the battle of Okinawa. Father to 6 children, Linda, Thomas, Patricia, Denise, Peter and Barry. Donald was a partner in Raun & Stafford Trucking, primarily a contract milk hauling and construction business.
