Mr. Eduards Bacans, aged 95, of Grand Rapids, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 2, 2009. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Veronika; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Deborah Bacans; one granddaughter, Lauren Bacans. He was a retired tailor for many Mens Clothing Stores in the Grand Rapids Area. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10:00 a.m. at St. Isidore Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Friday 7 to 9 p.m. at Arsulowicz Brothers, East Mortuary, 937 Michigan NE, where the Rosary will be prayed Friday at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions to St. Isidore Church will be appreciated.
