Florencio M. Rodriguez SHALLOWATER- Funeral services for Florencio M. Rodriguez 85, of Shallowater will be on Thursday April 19, 2012 at 2 p.m. at St. Phillip Benizi Catholic Church in Shallowater. Father Jose Kochuparambil will officiate. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Friends are invited to pray the Rosary on Wednesday April 18, 2012 at 7 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Florencio passed away April 15, 2012 surrounded by his family. He was born in Mercedes, Texas. He married the former Beatrice Garcia. She's been waiting for him in heaven since her passing on May 2, 2005. Mr. Rodriguez was a member of St. Phillip Catholic in Shallowater. He had worked in farming and gin industry for many years, having also worked for Century Properties. Survivors include his sons, Jesse (Judy) Rodriguez of Colorado and Ricky Rodriguez of Shallowater; daughters, Mary Ybarra, Gloria (Manuel) Martinez, Rose (Joe) Alejandro, Christina (Juan) Salas, Isabel Ortega and Lydia Rodriguez all of Shallowater. He will also be missed by his brothers, Alex and Natividad Rodriguez and sisters, Teodora Garza and Irene DeLeon. Florencio was preceded in death by a son, Mario Alberto Rodriguez and grandson, Paul Rosales
