He married Clara Sophia Heywood, and had children Sophie Elizabeth Webb, Phillip George Hemming Webb, Clare Amy Webb, Mary Constance Webb, James Frederick Webb, Kenneth Heywood Webb, Margaret Olive Webb, Frank Reginald Webb, and Harry Alan Webb. George Webb died at age 66 years old on June 5, 1918 in Malvern East, Victoria, and was buried at Cheltenham Cemetery in Cheltenham.
