Gloria Angela (Sexton) Fish 62, of Yuba City, CA, passed away December 21, 2009, at Fremont Hospital in Yuba City after a brief illness. Gloria was a registered nurse. She recently retired from Oroville Hospital where she worked as a Case Manager. She interviewed patients every day so that she could establish what their medical needs would be when they were discharged from hospital. Prior to her work at Oroville Hospital, she worked as a critical care nurse and utilization review coordinator at Fremont Hospital, and at Peach Tree Clinic. She worked extensively with Sutter County Domestic Violence and Child Abuse Prevention Council; and was active in her support of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and St. Judes. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church. Gloria was proud to be a naturalized American citizen. She was born in London, England, the second of two children born to Percy Patrick Rappaport and Sheila Rose Sexton, both deceased. She was married for more than 40 years to Roy Fish (Semper Fi) who preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Christina M. McBean, two grandchildren, Gunnar and Patton McBean, of Colorado Springs, CO; her brother, Michael Sexton of Yuba City, CA; and many close friends and co-workers. Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, December 30th, at 3:00p.m. at Chapel of the Twin Cities, 715 Shasta Street, Yuba City, CA, Deacon Eldon Vignery of St. Isidore Catholic Church officiating. Memorial donations in Gloria's name may be sent to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 424 East 92nd Street, New York, New York 10128.
