Henry Samuel Kranzler was born on July 22nd, 1920 to Mayer Leib Rachmiel “Ralph” Kranzler (1887 - 1966) and Anna Adler (1893 - 1947). His father was born in Germany and his mother was born in Poland. Henry had siblings George, Rose, Bella, and Moses. A veteran of World War II, Henry Kranzler enlisted in the United States Army on August 18th, 1942 and was discharged on December 11th, 1945. Henry married an unknown woman about 1948 and there is no record of their having children.

Born and raised in Germany, Henry immigrated to the United States with his birth family at about the age of 20. He later moved to the state of Oregon , where he died at the age of 79. He is buried in Scenic Hills Memorial Park in Ashland, Jackson County, Oregon. His headstone is in both English and Hebrew.
