John Carre Riddell of Elsternwick, City of Glen Eira County, VIC Australia was born on June 4, 1809 at Linthill, in South Lanarkshire County, Scotland United Kingdom to Thomas Carre Riddell and Jane Ferrier Riddell. He married Mary Ann Sibella (Stephen) Riddell on October 22, 1846 in Elsternwick, City of Glen Eira County, Victoria Australia, and had children Jane Gerogina Vereker Riddell, Thomas William Riddell, Annie Carre (Riddell) De Fegely, John Carre Riddell, and Walter John Carre Riddell. John Riddell died at age 70 years old on December 22, 1879 in Elsternwick, VIC Australia.
