Joseph Bordas was the son of Ambrose Bordas (1891-1972) and Julia E Bordas (1897-1935). He was born on April 15, 1922 and had older sisters Dorothy (1916-1961) and Ana Grace Bordas (1918-1996). On June 21, 1947 in Bedford, New York, USA he married Kathleen Ferguson (1924-1990). They had three sons together, Joseph D Bordas Jr (born 1948), Kenneth, and James and a daughter.
