Lewis Whealdon Fowler was born on May 19, 1854 in Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio United States to Lewis Fowler and Meribah Whealdon. He was in a relationship with Emma Heminger, and had children Fanny Fern Fowler, Valentine Heminger Fowler, Lewis Virginus Fowler, Marius Whealdon Fowler, Sidney Phillip Fowler, Meribah Oletha Fowler, and Barbara Oletha Fowler. Lewis Fowler died at age 90 years old in 1944 in Keosauqua, Van Buren County, IA.
