Mary Ann Schrecengost was born on February 14, 1811 at Kitanning Township,PA to Benjamin Schrecengost and Susannah (Oury) Schrecengost, and had siblings George Schrecengost, Elizabeth Schrecengost, Susanna Schrecengost, Daniel Schrecengost, Issac Schrecengost, Joseph John Schrecengost, and Hannah Schrecengost. She married Charles Schaffer, and had children Susannah Schaeffer, Hannah E. (Schaeffer) Welser, Genevah Schaeffer, Barbara A. Schaeffer, and Benjamin George Schaeffer. Mary Schrecengost died at age 54 years old on September 7, 1865 at Unknown.
