    lattsburg Press Republican Sat Jun 23, 1990 Norris L Bigness MALONE - Norris L. Bigness, 87, of 75 West Street, Malone, died Friday, Jan. 22, at Alice Hyde Hospital. He was born in Malone, Jan. 26,1900, the son of Joseph and Maria (Roussell) Bigness. He married Obeline Dame on Aug. 1, 1918, at Notre Dame Church in Malone, with the Reverend Campeau presiding. She died Jan. 23,1968. Mr. Bigness lived all of his life in Malone and attended local schools. He worked for the Malone Paper Mill, Harrison Construction Company in Massena and for St. Joseph's Church in Malone as a cemetery worker. He retired in 1960. He was a member of St, John Bosco Church in Malone. Mr. Bigness is survived by three sons: Gerald Bigness of Jordan, N.Y. and Morris Bigness and Marvin Bigness, both of Elbridge, N.Y.; three daughters, Mrs. Herman (Bertha) Revette of Malone, Mrs.William (Shirley) Lashway of Norfolk, N.Y., and Mrs. Louis (Lillan) LaFleur of Parish, N.Y.; a brother, Carl Bigness of Vancouver; 37 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. Four sons died earlier: Eugene, Ernest, Harrison and Norman. Two daughters, Elmira Fields and Eleanor Monette, several sisters and brothers also died earlier. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at St. Mary Murphy Funeral Home in Malone. A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 9:30 a.m. in St. John Bosco Church in Malone. Burial will be in St. John Bosco Cemetery this spring.
