Ortenzio Filotei of Russellton, Allegheny County, PA was born on July 1, 1898 in Italy, and was the father of Antonio Filotei. Ortenzio Filotei died at age 81 years old in April 1980 in Russellton, and was buried at Deer Creek Cemetery 902 Russellton Rd, in Cheswick.

He also worked as a coal loader in West Deer, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Despite the challenges he faced, Ortenzio Filotei was able to obtain U.S. citizenship on June 1, 1927 in Pennsylvania, USA.
