This is a hand-colorized photo of my grandmother Marguerite Canedy at age 18. She was an avid genealogist, activist, and general rabble rouser. She helped found the Franklin County ARC, was the president of the Hearing Foundation in Greenfield, and was a poet. I don't remember her much about her, but her impact has been felt far beyond her years on this earth.
