Brother of make-up artists George Bau Uncle of makeup artist Robert Bau and body makeup artist Beverly Bau-Turner 'Beve' Member of the Society of Makeup Artists (SMA). Along with his brother George, he initially worked for Rubbercraft, a company which specialized in rubber parts for industrial usage. Gordon eventually perfected the application of foam rubber for motion picture make-up and prosthetics. Was head of the make-up department at Warner Brothers, 1930-'s to 70's.
